At the Baxter Building, Mister Fantastic was finishing getting ready the Future Foundation's Life Raft to be used to save a small portion of humanity. Numerous heroes tried to fend off the attackers. The fleet arrived to the incursion point, the Manhattan of Earth-616 and started firing at it. Meanwhile, on Earth-1610, Nick Fury was making the final arrangements for the upcoming and final incursion, and soon after sent all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fleet towards Earth-616. They demanded to know who dared stand before them, and Doom presented himself. On one side of the Multiverse, Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange, and the Molecule Man were confronting the Beyonders. Time ran out, and only two realities remained: Earth-616 and Earth-1610. Many groups were involved in the Game of Worlds, including the Illuminati and the Cabal, but in the end, nothing could stop the incursions from ending the Multiverse. A time-travelling Doctor Doom ("Rabum Alal") and the Molecule Man of Earth-616 tried to thwart their plan by killing Molecule Men early, but this caused a contraction in the Multiverse, resulting in realities began colliding with other realities with their Earths serving as the focal point.
Beings from outside the Multiverse known as the Beyonders (the "Ivory Kings") sought to destroy it by creating Molecule Men in every reality to simultaneously destroy all realities.
